The Empress has been voted CAMRA's Pub of the Year in Cambridge!
Dave collected the award at the CAMRA Cambridge Beer Festival in typically understated fashion, with the organisers happy to congratulate him on a job well done. The sharp-eyed among you may perhaps have seen copies of the certificate proudly yet subtly displayed here and there in the pub.
Thanks to all the CAMRA members who voted for us - it's a very proud day at the Empress. We're happy to be part of this great community and it's always good to get recognition for the quality of our ales. We'll spend the next year keeping the standards high and making sure we keep improving so we're still the best local around.
